BRIDGING THE GAPS INSTITUTE

The Department of Education is hosting an institute for bridging gaps in the area of education. These gaps that we are referring to are the hurdles and stumbling blocks that are impediments to successful student learning and achievement in the Federated States of Micronesia.  September 15-19, 2008 is slated for this institute. There are project schools identified under this project and we would like to have all the FSM school principals of those project schools as well as the state departments’ chiefs in curriculum, elementary, secondary and special programs to participate at this institute. 

The President of the Federated States of Micronesia, His Excellency Manny Mori after approving and signing the organizational chart for the FSM National Department of Education moved on to discuss the importance of launching the project “Bridging the Gaps” to improve schools in the FSM.
